Summer 2018
August 4th, 2018 | Through blue skies and warm weather, our summer Quattro Cruise provided for great conditions in our drive from D&V Autobody Masters - in Sterling Virginia - to Mountain view Diner in Harper’s Ferry. With over 30 cars and 60 participants, the event had a great turnout. We were able to raise close to $1000 for benefit OpenIndia.org. Spring 2018
May 12th, 2018 | With the first warm weather of 2018, we hosted on first Quattro Cruise in Maryland. Starting from Hunt Valley Horsepower and ending at the Valley Inn, our group enjoyed the drive while raising over $1000 for Driven to Cure. Driven to Cure is a non profit organization dedicated to funding a cure for Kidney Cancer. They primarily raise money and bring awareness to the cause with their orange GT-R being at car shows. |
Winter 2017 November 11th, 2017 | Winter came early for Quattro Cruise as we did our fall event in mid November. Even with weather that was in the 20 degrees range, we still had 22 cars and 30 people come to our event. Our group this time around headed to Pine Grove Restaurant located in Bluemont Virginia to benefit OpenIndia.org. Open is an organization that helps underprivileged children in India, and we were happy to raise $250 for them. |
Fall 2017 September 10th, 2017 | For our fall cruise, we wanted to switch things up. We met at Audi of America Headquarters and cruised to the Shenandoah Mountains with 34 cars and 50 people. This time around, we wanted to support the victims of Hurricane Harvey. In total, we raised over $3,100 for victims of the natural disaster in the hopes of making a difference. We split the money half and half to donate to two different causes. Firstly, we chose Houston Pets Alive; a pet shelter with the objective of being a no-kill pet shelter located in Houston. Secondly, for the JJ Watt Foundation. Although the non profit's objective is helping kids have athletic after school activity opportunities, the organization had a fund setup for Houston Victims in which we contributed to. |
Summer 2017 June 3rd, 2017 | In summer, we put together another cruise, this time to help Canines 'n' Kids. We again met in Katie's Coffee House, but this time we cruised to Grandma's Diner. Our turnout consisted of approximately 35 cars and 45 people. We ultimately helped raise roughly $400 through our event with everyone's help. Canines 'n' Kids helps dogs and young kids diagnosed with Canine Cancer, and we were happy to raise money for this cause. |
